Maharaj's Coaches was officially established in 1982 by Mr Rajen Maharaj, but the family rooted history of the company dates back to the early 1930’s. Rajen, has since, brought Maharaj's Coaches to it’s prestigious and reputable present day role in the industry through relentless devotion, unlimited energy, and desire to see his dream become a reality.

Today the company is managed under the watchful guise and daily presence of Rajen himself and his son Leshen. Maharaj's Coaches operates more than 60 coaches from the head office based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal's economic hub. Maharaj’s Coaches have always set high standards and have always maintained an exceptional fleet of coaches.
